Perfect Horse Behaviour From Nervous Animals

Get back in control: Take control of unpredictable or nervous horses. The first supplement to both calm the nerves and soothe the muscle.

Like all athletes, horses often get sore, stiff muscles that make them anxious in their work. These muscle aches are not enough to create obvious lameness but they can cause your horse to resist the aids or become one-sided or lack flexibility or generally behave badly. Muscle problems can cause a horse to rush its fences or refuse or run-out to avoid discomfort.

How it works
Best Behaviour contains unique combination of calming and soothing nutrients that help improve horse behaviour.

Muscle and MSM.
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is regularly taken by human athletes to support their muscles before training. Training frequently causes muscle aches and pains and that can affect the athletes schedule and MSM protects the muscles and allows the athlete to get on with their work. It must be emphasised that athletes do not use MSM to allow them to work through muscle injuries. When a muscle is injured they must stop training and allow the muscle to heal. We are talking here about the slight stiffness and aches that we all feel after we exercise. When taken before exercise the after effects of training are reduced. If you give your horse Best Behaviour in the morning it will work better and be more comfortable.

Magnesium.
The benefits of magnesium as a horse calmer is very well recognised. Magnesium supplements have been used to great effect for many years. The shelves of every feed and tack shop are positively creaking with magnesium supplements and since people are not stupid, they must work to some degree. Many magnesium supplement manufacturers spend a great deal of energy in extolling the benefits of their particular type of Magnesium in

Here at Animal Health Food we try to shy away from the stance taken by other manufacturers that their form of magnesium is the only one that works.

The Magnesium is important for normal muscle and nerve function. Magnesium helps control the flow of calcium into nerve cells.

Best Behaviour provides a total approach to horse calming by providing per 20g serving, 160mg of L-Tryptophan the natural essential amino acid that helps produce serotonin the feel-good hormone that helps horses relax without loosing their competitive edge. Best Behaviour provides 9000mg of Magnesium an essential nutrient for a healthy nervous system. Stiff or tired muscles often cause skittish horse behaviour and Best Behaviour contains 1100mg of Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) to make the muscle more supple and comfortable. The Best Behaviour formula also contains 800mg of Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Hydrochloride) the vitamin that has long been known for its calming properties.

Ingredients per 10g (Maintenance dose)
Magnesium    4500mg
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)    550mg
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Hydrochloride)    400mg

FAQ’S Horse Behaviour

How will Best Behaviour help with unpredictable horse behaviour?
Your horse will be more relaxed when confronted with unexpected situations it will be better able to concentrate and will give you a much more relaxed ride. Horses that are difficult to handle, shoe, clip or load will have a more laid-back attitude and be much easier to handle. Your horse will be calmer but without any loss of performance.

Will it work?
The vast majority of horses, about 85% will show a great response and will be much calmer and easier to work with. A further 10% will show some improvement and unfortunately since Best Behaviour will not work miracles about 5% of horses will show no response.

Will it work for your horse?
We will bet that it does:  there is only one way to find out, try it and if it does not work we will give you your money back. One word of caution, the type of bad behaviour where horses have become accustomed to running away, rearing, stopping or running out is very difficult to resolve. Best Behaviour can help in some of these cases and it is certainly worth trying but the outcome is uncertain.

Is it safe?
Best Behaviour contains nutrients that calm in a natural way. It is not a drug so is perfectly safe for long tem use. Because we manufacture supplements for young farm animal, lambs and calves our manufacturing methods have to conform to strict EU standards so you can be confident that your horse’s supplement is of the highest quality.
Best Behaviour It is free from artificial preservative, GM products and herbs and is guaranteed free from prohibited substances.

How long does it take to work?
With many horses you will literally see a difference in overnight. Some horses take time to show a response but generally you will see a difference in a few days.

How much do I give?
Most horses do well on the maintenance level which is 10g daily as required. Every horse is different so when you start using Best Behaviour you have to determine which dose is appropriate for your horse.
The starting or ‘loading’ period is quite intense.
Day 1: add 50g to the morning feed and 50g to the evening feed.
Day 2: and 25g to the morning and evening feed
Day 3-7: add 10g to the morning and evening feed.
After the first week you can revert to 10g daily dependant on response. The most effective serving for your horse will have to be determined by trial and error. You can safely give 50g daily.
